I graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).
My passion to work within the healthcare industry has stemmed from a young age through participation in many active sports. In my spare time, I enjoy strength and conditioning training at the gym and improving my mixed martial arts skills. I found my passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2017 and went on to win gold in the 2021 Victorian State BJJ Championships.
Having previously worked with VFL football players as a sports trainer, I have gained experience in both manual therapy and exercise prescription for sports injury and rehabilitation. I support my patients throughout their recovery process by using a combination of preventative and therapeutic techniques. This is inclusive of soft tissue massages, spinal manipulation, health literacy education, exercise prescription, and professional lifestyle advice.
I understand that every patient has a unique lifestyle and different goals for their health. Accordingly, I aim to take on a more holistic approach by providing personalised treatment plans for every patient to suit their needs and address their long-term goals. My mission is to not only engage but empower my patients to reach their optimal health targets.
I believe in improving and positively impacting my patient’s life, not just physically through manual therapy, but also understanding the root of their problems and guiding them in their healthcare journey.
Dr. Edward Su is currently available for appointments on Mondays, Wednesday afternoons, and Friday afternoons.
